Retailers who sell food either in food store or food department within a larger store are well aware of Massachusetts’s outdated and burdensome item pricing laws. Legislation to reform the current laws has been approved by one committee and is pending in a House committee and we need your help to get it moving again. New York - Stop Reimbursement Disparity Bill With serious state budget deficit negotiations continuing regarding the 2010-2011 State Budget Plan, certain pharmacies are seeking enhanced reimbursement rates for different types of pharmacies to be included in the pending budget legislation or in separate legislation. It would be helpful if WAG employees called targeted members of the Senate and Assembly to urge legislators to oppose any legislation which provides a different pharmacy reimbursement for different types of pharmacies.
